Volunteer for the Tarrant Area Food Bank

FWHRMA has an opportunity to give back to the community by participating in a fantastic volunteer
event. The Tarrant Area Food Bank (TAFB) needs individuals to sort, inspect, and pack food to be
distributed to its hunger-relief agencies via its Quality Control (QC) program. Those who give time to QC
help ensure that our neighbors in need receive safe and quality food, and it allows FWHRMA members to
further their professional relationships through interaction with other volunteers, all while servicing the
community.

A study by TAFB shows that 1 of 7 people within 13 north Texas counties depend on food pantries and
group meal service programs. People of all ages and backgroundsundefinedseniors, veterans, students, the
employed and unemployed, children and families undefined rely on the graces of TAFB to provide them with meals and nourishment. Now, we can help.

FWHRMA has secured a block of time to assist TAFB in their mission. Please donate your time and join
fellow FWHRMA members at the QC event.
