TAFB Neighborhood Food Pantry Distribution

What We Do

Food pantries provide both perishable and non-perishable food items to families and individuals each month. The food is provided by Tarrant Area Food Bank and donated by local grocery stores and food drives. Join FWHR as we volunteer to distribute food within our community and help those who need us the most.

If you’re interested in more volunteer opportunities, visit the TAFB site. Available roles may include but are not limited to:

• Greeter
• Registration Assistant
• Restocking Shelves
• Sacking Groceries
• Carrying Groceries to Vehicles

Individuals as young as 8 years old are invited to volunteer; however, ages 8-14 years old MUST have an adult chaperone. Volunteers must be able to lift 10 pounds and stand for extended periods of time. Further details will be provided to individuals who sign up to volunteer.
