Once again, Fort Worth HR has an opportunity to give back to the community by participating in this fantastic volunteer event. The Tarrant Area Food Bank (TAFB) needs individuals to sort, inspect, and pack food to be distributed to its hunger-relief agencies via its Quality Control (QC) program. Those who give time to QC help ensure that our neighbors in need receive safe and quality food, and it allows FWHR members to further their professional relationships through interaction with other volunteers, all while serving the community. A study by TAFB shows that one of seven people within 13 North Texas counties depend on food pantries and group meal service programs. People of all ages and backgrounds—seniors, veterans, students, the employed and unemployed, children and families—rely on the graces of TAFB to provide them with meals and nourishment. Now, we can help. FWHR has secured a block of time to assist TAFB in their mission. Please donate your time and network with fellow Fort Worth HR members at this QC event.
