2023 Board of Directors from the 2022 Holiday Luncheon

Board members are recommended to the Nominating Committee by the President. The President may select board members from a variety of sources, with preference given to members who regularly volunteer with the organization.




President: Provides leadership to the local chapter consistent with local, TXSHRM and SHRM policy strategies and objectives.  Performs other duties as required by the local chapter's bylaws.  Serves as a voting member of the TXSHRM state council.


Get to Know Natasha:
  • Active FWHR member since 2016, serving in various board positions, and participated in many planning committees for the association's events and learning opportunities. 
  • Director of HR at AUI Partners, a construction company in Fort Worth.
  • Holds a BBA with a focus on HR and a SHRM-SCP certification. 
  • A busy mother of two boys (a 7 and 16 year old) and loves spending time with family and friends. 
  • Energized by meeting new people, making every interaction meaningful, and helping others.
  • Her wish is for any non-member reading this to become a member and utilize this community as a resource to learn and network with the 500+ members and valued sponsors/partners. 




President Elect: Advises the president and other officers and members of the board of directors regarding past practices, general operations, and other matters to assist in the smooth operation of the chapter.  


Get to Know Eli:
  • Leads the HR and organizational development department for Purdy Group USA, an auto group that operates Toyota franchises throughout the state of Texas. In his role, he partners with company leadership to drive culture, ensure high levels of employee engagement, and challenge the organization to continuously improve.
  • Prior to working with Purdy Group, he has worked in various industries, including: retail, staffing, and healthcare. 
  • Holds an undergraduate degree from the University of Texas at Arlington and a Masters of science degree in Human Resources Management from Tarleton State University.
  • Passionate about helping people, growing organizations, and having fun while doing it.

Danielle Snailer

Certifications Director Manage the chapter’s certification study program including S/PHR Prep Class and HR Basics Course. 

Get to Know Danielle:
  • Served on the FWHR board since 2018. 
  • An HR Manager for STMicroelectronics
  • She is passionate about teaching and developing employees, and wants to encourage others to grow and learn in their HR profession
  • Her wish for FWHR members is for them to get involved with this dedicated, fun loving group of warm professionals.
  • An Alumni of University of Texas at Arlington and a mother of a medical student. 
  • In her spare time, she enjoys making greeting cards and painting.

Get to Know Julia:

  • Holds a BBA in Management from Texas A&M University and a Masters in Organizational Development for the University of the Incarnate Word.
  • Director of Human Resources at JTaylor, a public accounting firm in Fort Worth.
  • Getting into HR wasn’t a straight path. She started working in higher education before her initial introduction to HR as a recruiter. She then spent 6 years in public education and 4 of those years as a classroom teacher before returning to HR in 2014. Her mix of education and HR experience has developed a passion to help employees learn and progress in order to reach their goals and full potential.
  • FWHR has been a great connection point to meet other professionals and provided me with the resources I needed to get certified in 2017.
  • Married to her high school sweetheart with 3 kids and 2 dogs who all love spending their free time at the lake.

      


Community Relations Director Manages the chapter’s community outreach efforts to organizations whose interests align with FWHR.  Oversees existing community service relationships such as Diamond Hill Elementary, Tarrant Area Food Bank, and Women’s Shelter.

Get to Know Jason:
  • An advisor at Marsh McLennan. With over 10 years of HR Experience in the mid-market sector, he currently helps his clients find the right mix of health & wellness benefits that will help attract and retain the right mix of employees.
  • Passionate about making communities better, and that there's no better place to start then here in Fort Worth. 
  • Wants to make sure the next generation of HR professionals have the correct resources to move forward in their careers. Getting plugged into this chapter is step one in that process.
  • A proud North Texas grad with Nebraska roots. 
  • He is happily married to his wife, and is a father to two daughters, Lyla & Ivy. 
  • Coaches youth lacrosse, can’t swim well, and is a diehard Rangers fan. 



Conferences Director:  Manages the activities of the conference committee for our two annual conferences; Employment Law Update and The Strategic Mindset. 

Get to Know Peyton:

  • Peyton Hiett holds a BBA in Marketing from the Neeley School of Business at Texas Christian University.
  • Joined HUB International in 2021 as an Employee Benefits Consultant and works alongside business owners and Human Resource Directors in implementing strategic benefits package tailored to the organization’s workforce. 
  • Born and raised in Burleson, TX and now resides in Aledo. 
  • In her spare time, you can find her spending time with her husband and dog. 
  • Enjoys all things water sports, traveling, fly fishing and the outdoors. 
  • Looking forward to supporting the members and attendees of FWHR and hopes to create meaningful relationships and to better understand the needs of those in HR.




    Emerging HR Professionals Director Manages the scholarship program, internship program, and college outreach efforts.

    Get to Know Kenya:

    • Hopes to serve emerging HR professionals by connecting them with the resources needed to help them excel in their careers. 
    • Currently works in Higher Education as a Department Chair and Human Resources Management faculty member at Tarrant County College. She developed their Human Resources Management degree programs and certificates. 
    • Her relevant background includes Organizational Development, Staff and Talent Development, and Learning and Development.
    • Originally from Wichita, KS and attended Wichita State University & Friends University. 
    • Enjoys dancing and has taken hip hop, jazz, and belly dancing classes. She enjoys spending time outdoors with her two children who are 13 and 5 years old.

    Get to Know Megan:

    • I have been the sole HR Generalist for Baird, Hampton & Brown engineering firm since December 2020.
    • I had a varied career before discovering HR.  I was a Radio/TV/Film major with an Advertising/PR minor at TCU. I spent several years providing world class customer service for LEGO Systems Inc and Williamson-Dickies. I discovered HR while supporting employees in the medical field and worked in pediatrics, scribes, and a nursing home.
    • I enjoy meeting and cheering on new people at FWHR events along with sampling desserts at Ridglea Country Club.
    • I am a mom of two creative & chaotic boys am serving as the Committee Chair of our local Cub Scout Pack.
    • I was very proud to be the FWHR Volunteer of the year for 2023.




    Events Director Secures locations for monthly meetings and other entertainment venues.  Checks in and manages attendees at monthly meetings and other entertainment events.

    Get to Know Leila:

    • The Chief HR Officer for Medstar Mobile Healthcare with over 20 years of HR experience.
    • Joined FWHR to increase her network of HR professionals. Then, she joined the board to support the broader network of HR by providing avenues for members to connect and network with each other. 
    • Her wish for current and future members is to have them meet new people, make connections, and gain new friendships.
    • Enjoys reading and diamond painting. 
    • Married mother of four children.

    Get to Know Kristine:

    • HR Business Partner for MedStar Mobile Healthcare with 10 years of combined Talent Acquisition and HR experience.
    • Attended Arizona State University as a first-generation student to complete an undergraduate degree in organizational development and received her MBA in Human Resource Management from Northcentral University.
    • Born and raised in Fort Worth and joined FWHR to attend the S/PHR Prep Class (shameless plug: she passed on the first try).
    • Passionate about working with senior leadership to create the best employee experience possible so that they can better serve their communities.
    • Self-proclaimed cat lady and cat momma to her cat named Rat Rat.
    • In her spare time, she enjoys playing Volleyball, watching crime and/or cooking shows and working on Disney themed diamond paintings.



    Legal and Legislative Director:  Monitors and evaluates on a continuing basis pending legislative, regulatory and legal action at the federal, state, and local level that may have an impact on the profession and management of human resources.  


    Get to Know Julia:

    • A partner at Ross | Gannaway | Clifton, a law firm dedicated largely to employment in the public sector, and the firm represents only employers. 
    • A graduate of Texas A&M with an economic degree and obtained her J.D. from the University of Houston in 1994. 
    • A member of the Texas City Attorney’s Association and the Texas Bar College. She also is a regular speaker for various employer organizations around Texas.
    • Joined the Board to continue bringing relevant and informative speakers to the Legal Hour to assist FWHR professionals in understanding how the law affects their profession. 
    • Whennot giving legal advice about pay issues or conducting employer investigations, you can find her tailgating at the Aggie football game (her alma mater) with her husband or reading a new sci-fi book.









    Marketing Director: Oversees and manages the marketing and public relations activities of the chapter including social media and chapter newsletters.   

    Get to Know Celia Alemara:

    • With over eight years of recruitment experience for multinational companies, Ale, an ex-Amazonian, has made hiring recommendations to global teams in the USA, Mexico, Colombia, Guatemala, and Brazil. Originally from Veracruz, Mexico, she moved to Fort Worth in 2022. 
    • Joining FWHR was a deliberate choice for Ale to become part of the vibrant HR community in Fort Worth. Her goal is to collaborate with exceptional individuals and contribute to impactful initiatives.
    • As a Psychology graduate from the University of Veracruzana, she earned an international scholarship in Organizational Psychology at the Universidad de Santiago de Compostela in Spain and an MBA from the University of the Incarnate Word.
    • Beyond her professional pursuits, Ale enjoys spending time with her husband, exploring culinary adventures, diving into captivating books, capturing moments through photography, and traveling.



    Membership Director Manages the membership function to successfully achieve an increase in chapter membership.  Maintains the chapter’s membership database to produce an annual membership roster and applicable addendums.

    Get to Know Michelle:

    • Entered the HR industry in 2014 and is currently an HR Generalist. 
    • When she joined FWHR as a member, she wanted to grow her network and meet new professionals.
    • Her wish for current members is to make new connections with those that will always have their back. For potential members, she hopes they will reach out to her for more information. "There are so many benefits to being a member and it’s a great resource to get your certification credits!".
    • Spends most of her spare time with her husband and daughter creating memories. 
    • Fun fact: she is a certified Spanish interpreter!

    Get to Know Dianna:

    • Human Resources (HR) leader, business partner and consultant with over 30+ years of broad based knowledge of HR initiatives, progressive HR policy development and results oriented solutions. 
    • Works with line employees up to senior level executives and elected officials in local government HR at the City and County levels and with municipal-owned water and electric utilities, providing guidance in the areas of Employee Relations, Performance Management, Workforce Planning and Development, Safety, Talent Attraction and Acquisition, Compensation, Career Progression Programs, HRIS Implementation, Safety and Risk Mitigation strategies.
    • Dianna developed her HR expertise primarily in Texas dedicating over 24 years to the City of Austin leading citywide change initiatives for over 12,000 employees, a few years overseeing the Talent Acquisition division for Travis County and over 3-years working for the City of Aurora in Colorado as the Director of Human Resources, where she elevated the HR Department as a valuable and trusted business partner. 
    • Currently serving as the Director of Human Resources & Civil Service for the City of Fort Worth for the last 2 ½ years. Dianna earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Human Resources Management from St. Edward’s University where she graduated summa cum laude.

    Get to Know Dottie:

    • Joined Parrish-Hare Electrical Supply as HR Manager in February of 2021.  
    • Began her HR career in 2010 when she started the HR dept.  Since then, she has worked as an HR dept of one and manages all aspects of HR.
    • A graduate of Texas Christian University with a BS in Communications. Go Frogs!  She holds both the PHR and SHRM-CP certification.
    • Been a member of FWHR for 10 years, been on the board for 9 of those years.
    • Works closely with HR leaders to better support their career and serves on the board of FWHR to support the development and professional growth of its members. 
    • Enjoys spending time with husband, William and her 3 children going to BMX races and gymnastic meets.

    Get to Know Beverly:

    • Passionate HR leader with 15+ years’ experience fostering talent growth across Accounting, Finance, and HR. 
    • Skilled in identifying top candidates and matching them with ideal employers. Dedicated to building strong communities through volunteer work with Blue Zones and DFW metroplex organizations. 
    • Servant leadership advocate, inspiring others to reach their full potential. Currently HR department of one at Ideal Partners, supporting company culture, growth, and employee needs.





    Secretary:  Records the minutes of chapter meetings, provides notice of meetings and general correspondence.  Maintains chapter records and history.


    Get to Know Christina:
    • Joined AUI Partners in September of last year as the Human Resources Coordinator, primarily recruiting new employees and setting them up for success in their new positions.
    • Born and raised in the North Side of Fort Worth Christina is a first-generation grad student currently finishing up her Master’s in Public Administration from the University of North Texas.
    • In her spare time, she works alongside her husband with their photography & videography business, JTX Studios.
    • When she and her husband aren’t taking pictures, they are spending time with their 3 fur babies (Jimmy Choo, Chanel, and Winnie) binge watching True Crime documentaries.
    • Giving back to her community and alma mater are major passions of hers, and she strives to be more impactful with her service in the year to come.
    • Being a board member is a big accomplishment and honor, she hopes that as a board member she can continue to build on the foundation of FWHR’s welcoming environment in which she found attending her first event in December 2021.




    Sponsorship Director:  Identifies and secures sponsors for chapter meetings and events who are willing to assist the chapter financially in return for an opportunity to promote their product or service to members. Conduct benchmarking and networking activities necessary for creating a viable sponsor program.

    Get to Know Isaac:

    • Joined Gallagher's Benefits & HR Consulting division in 2019 as a Retirement Plan Consultant 
    • Began his career in financial services with Fidelity Investments in 2012 and has since gained experience that encompasses all areas of the employee benefits industry. Prior to joining Gallagher, Isaac worked as Vice President of Retirement Business Business Development for PNC Bank.
    • A graduate of Tarleton State University with a Bachelor of Business Administration, has completed the Accredited Investment Fiduciary® (AIF®) certification through Fi360 and has been a board member of Fort Worth HR since 2019. 
    • Works closely with HR leaders every day and serves on the board of FWHR to support the development and professional growth of its members. 
    • Enjoys Barbecuing, being outdoors with his dogs, and spending time with his wife and son.



    Treasurer:  Acts as financial officer and advisor to chapter board of directors. Files appropriate forms and information with IRS.  Collects funds and monitors attendance at luncheons and oversees collection of donated monies.


    Get to Know Laura:

      • Holds a B.S. in Biological Sciences with minors in Chemistry and Spanish from the University of North Texas.
      • Joined Ag Resource Management as VP of HR in August of 2021, after working in healthcare for 14+ years. Oversees all aspects of the HR function at ARM, including performance management, employee relations, benefits, compensation, talent acquisition and professional development.
      • Enjoys cooking, reading, and spending time with her friends and family. 
      • Enjoys attending all their sporting events and is also very involved in activities within their schools. 
      • Married to her high school sweetheart with 3 boys, Landon, Asher and Anderson.
